The point of view
Mandate-aware, governance-first agentic AI — shipped into production, not demonstrated in a workshop.
The UAE federal Agentic AI Mandate published in April 2026 sets the tempo for the next 24 months of enterprise AI in this region. Fifty percent of federal services on agentic AI within two years is not a target — it is a compliance timeline. Every board conversation about AI in the UAE now happens against that clock, and every consultancy pitch is judged against how credibly it will meet it.
We think this is the wrong reference frame for enterprise AI. The Mandate is real and we respond to it directly — the NexAI Agent Foundry product family (A11, A13, B20, B21, B22, C9) and the NexAI Federal Mandate Sprint bundle are engineered specifically for the year-one window. But mandate-only thinking produces demos that don't survive contact with production. Governance-first thinking produces agentic systems that regulators, boards, and users all trust.
Governance-first is not compliance theatre. It is the difference between an agent that scales and an agent that gets recalled.
Vendor-neutrality is not marketing positioning. It is delivery discipline. Every AI engagement runs a platform selection scorecard within the first two weeks. Gartner position, UAE data-residency, model quality, agent runtime maturity, ISV ecosystem, and three-year TCO all get evaluated on evidence — not on the vendor relationship of the consultancy running the engagement. We do not disclose partner arrangements on the marketing site because we do not want our partner arrangements to influence platform selection.
Where our practice starts, and where it stops.
We deliver assessment (A1, A2, A5, A9, A11, A13), implementation (B1, B2, B3, B6, B7, B14, B15, B18, B20, B21, B22, B23), and managed operations (C1, C2, C8, C9). We do not deliver research — we implement production systems. We do not deliver training courses divorced from client context — we run citizen-developer programmes (B22) inside our platform builds. We do not deliver strategy without execution — every executive AI program (A1) produces a signed 90-day execution backlog with named next-step SKUs.
The UAE dimension matters throughout. PDPL AI data handling. UAE AI Charter alignment. Arabic-language evaluation for GenAI systems. Federal-entity procurement patterns. TDRA and MoAI reporting cadence. These are not add-ons to a global AI methodology — they are structural in how we scope engagements from week one. Non-UAE consultancies bolt UAE regulatory content on as a compliance overlay; we scope UAE regulatory constraints as delivery inputs from the start.

AI engagements in the UAE sit inside a dense and fast-moving regulatory frame: PDPL for personal data, the UAE AI Charter for fairness and accountability, the federal Agentic AI Mandate for delivery tempo, and the National AI Strategy 2031 for sector priority. We scope each of these as a delivery input, with OWASP LLM Top 10 and NIST AI RMF as the technical control references.

Applies to AI in data acquisition, training-data handling, model deployment, output retention, and cross-border transfer of AI-processed data. Our AI engagements incorporate PDPL classification of training data, residency verification for model hosting, and PDPL-aligned audit logging for agentic actions.

A11 is a use-case discovery engagement for enterprises evaluating agentic AI investment. A13 is a role-enablement engagement for newly-appointed Chief AI Officers under the UAE Mandate. Federal entities often need both; commercial enterprises typically need only A11.
For public-cloud AI (B1, B2, B3, B7, B14, B15, B20), no. For sovereign AI (B18, B21), yes — sovereign landing zone foundations (B5) are typically sequenced first. Our A1 or A11 assessment identifies the sequence.
